Rachel's Fragile Entomology series makes a foray into the hot shop with her work for this show presented by the Contemporary Applied Arts Gallery in collaboration with the Contemporary Glass Society. The pieces also mark a decade of Rachel working with glass as well as a return to the spellbounding qualities of working with hot glass. The Gallery is open Monday - Saturday 10am - 6pm, with free admission.

Rachel's installation, 'Swarm' is on display in the Bilston Craft Gallery as part of this exhibition showcasing historical and contemporary craft pieces. The Gallery is open Tuesday & Thursday: 10am - 4pm, Wednesday: 10am - 7pm, Friday: 10am – 1pm, Saturday: 11am - 4pm, with free admission to browse this and other exhibitions as well as the shop.

Following the success of the exhibition at the International Festival of Glass in August 2008, it is now touring around the world, with it's current location and exhibition dates available on the website. This diverse collection of modern beads was inspired by Shakespeare's work of the same name, with glass artists from all over the world asked to make a glass bead which had to be no bigger than 10cm in any direction and with a hole to make it wearable. The assembled artists range from flameworkers to engravers and kiln-casters with the full list available on the exhibition website.
