The piece is a comment on the potentially dangerous situations we, as glass artists, put ourselves in for the love of working with the material. |
The screenprinted and silver stained glass jelly on it’s doily adorned plate is at first glance an innocent and playful object. On second inspection it’s ‘hazardous’ surface of toxic signs and irregular colouring indicate its underlying and sinister nature.
